Ms. Young joined the Citizens of the World team for the 2023-2024 school year as our Middle School ELA Teacher.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Central Missouri, including a concentration in Special Education.  She has fifteen years of experience working with students and founded her own non-profit in Kansas City.  She is passionate about fostering a love of reading and effective communication among her students.
